Door-to-door transportation by our teachers and counselors, is provided to our students from their homes to our school located at 2500 Jonquil Way, Pittsburgh, PA 15210.
New Academy Charter School is a tuition-free educational opportunity for all students. Additionally, all supplemental services offered by New Academy Charter School are free of charge to parents/guardians, including transportation, daily breakfast and lunch, school attire and all extra-curricular activities.
Students wear school attire provided by New Academy Charter School at no cost to parents/guardians.
The school day begins at 8:30am and ends at 2:44pm. In addition, New Academy Charter School follows a traditional public school year calendar.
Class sizes usually range from 10-15 students per class.
Any student who complete the state graduation requirements while attending will receive a diploma from New Academy Charter School. Our annual commencement ceremony and graduation banquet are held every June for all eligible students and their guests.
Yes, as long as a student maintains academic eligibility requirements to participate, he/she can be involved in extracurricular activities at their school of residence and New Academy Charter School will provide after-school transportation to that school.
